The clothing line AnnaBey was founded in 2019 with the motive of offering the USP and elegant side of women's fashion. Company partners Diana, who is Swedish, and her Indian girlfriend, Anvika, met in New York while pursuing a degree in Fashion Communication from the New York School of Fashion and Designing. Sharing a passion for elegant fashion, the two decided to become partners.

The brand promotes quality women's fashion at various price points. The brand's investors were Sujal Shenoy and Ridhima Gill. Shenoy was one of the professors who taught Diana and Anvika during their graduation. Clothing is one aspect of elegance, and in response to the USP that promotes elegance, the brand offers an accredited eight-week course titled "Secrets of Quality Women." It has helped thousands of women push their boundaries.

This brand will make clothes by 2020. Anvika wants to introduce the brand to Indian clothing that highlights the elegance of her hometown. According to her, elegant sarees and sharara can enhance a woman's look. Her goal is to serve Indian women in New York and launch a brand in India. Diana, on the other hand, disagrees with this idea. In her opinion, the brand should focus on manufacturing Western clothing. This is because the introduction of Indian clothing causes a lot of confusion and distraction from the company's selling point and motivation for elegance. and expand their business, while the other considers this expansion unnecessary, which has caused some conflict and disagreement between them.

Solutions

  1. Negotiation

A sign of successful business relationships is communication. Before using any of the structured business and partnership dispute resolution methods, you should make an effort to raise the issue directly with your partner. Often a fair settlement can be reached through negotiation if both parties are willing to compromise. The main meaning of partnership lies in the understanding that neither party can always have everything their way.

  1. Investigate the situation

After listening to the parties' concerns, take time to review the case. Don't prejudge or make a final judgment based on what you have. Dig deeper and learn more about events, parties involved, issues, and people's feelings. Have a personal and confident conversation with the people involved and listen actively to make sure you understand their points of view. This can be done by summing up the statements and paraphrasing them. Also, try to identify sources of incompatibility that may not be obvious or missed at first.

  1. Identify ways to achieve common goals

When you manage conflicting processes, you must have a common goal, which is to solve the problem and make sure it doesn't happen again. And to resolve a conflict it is necessary to know the different levels of the conflict. It helps you find the best way to achieve your shared goal. After identifying the cause of the conflict, talking with both sides, and analyzing the situation, sit down with both sides and discuss how to work together to achieve the common goal of addressing and resolving the issue at hand. Ask, chat and brainstorm together until you've exhausted all options.

  1. Assess the situation and establish prevention strategies for the future.

Never assume the problem is solved. Effective communication should dominate business. So, ask yourself, "What is the second step to effective communication?" Knowing this helps ensure that employees work together to achieve the organization's goals. Therefore, keep observing the problem and evaluate the effectiveness of the solution or not. If the problem persists, take the necessary actions.

  1. Mediation

Mediation is the intervention of a neutral third party to enable disputing parties to resolve a dispute. A mediator facilitates a conversation between you and the person with the problem in the hope that you and the other party can work together to find a solution, rather than solving the dispute for you. Intervention is often the best option when you need help. Arbitration is a personal matter. Most people and companies don't want to put their dirty laundry out there for everyone to see. Also, arbitrators do not make decisions on your behalf, so you and the other party can control the dispute. Settlement agreements, voluntarily agreed upon by disputing parties, are usually the best form of reconciliation because each leaves behind some, if not all, of what each wants. This is particularly useful if the parties to a dispute need to work together in the future.
